Michelin-starred detox diet meals

Fancy detox meals designed by a Michelin starred chef? MyDetoxDiet has a new range of vegan, low fat, low salt juices, soups, salads and hot meals, created to make dieting tasty.

MyDetoxDiet was founded by nutritionist Ilona Wesle and beauty spa expert Susanne Koellner, who wanted to come up with a meal plan as an at-home alternative to expensive detox holidays.

MyDetoxDiet consists of calorie-reduced foods that are mainly alkaline, based on a vegan diet of up to 2,000 calories per day. A four-day soup and juice plan costs £106.

Meals include good carbohydrates as well as cooked fruits and vegetables, which cause less irritation to the digestive system than raw fruits and vegetables.

As well as weight loss, the plan can help reduce bloating and bad skin, as well as improving your energy levels.

“Think of your body, your muscles and tissue, as a sponge that is absorbing endless toxins that never really get flushed out,” the team says. “Without help the sponge just gets dirtier and dirtier, filling up with rubbish and losing its effectiveness. The body is the same. So just like the sponge - it needs to be cleaned.”
