Celebrity diet tricks

Do you ever look at celebrities with their fabulous figures and wonder just how they do it? Besides having the money to wear the best clothes and have the best hairstyles, celebs use a series of tricks and tips to keep their figures trim and toned. Here are just a few.

Use kid’s cutlery
It might sound crazy but plenty of Hollywood stars use this method to manage their weight. By using children’s small cutlery you have to take smaller mouthfuls and end up feeling fuller quicker. As such you eat less food but because you’ve probably had the same amount of spoonfuls as you would with ordinary cutlery your brain tricks you into thinking you’ve had the same amount.

Portion control
One of the simplest ways of managing your weight is to get control over your portions. Even some of the healthiest foods can be fattening if you eat too much. One way many celebs mange their portions is to avoid eating more than a fist-sized amount of anything. So, make a fist and avoid having anything or any potion of something bigger than that.

Get your face analysed
Celebrity nutritionist Elizabeth Gibaud developed the face analysis programme. Gibaud advises that different face shapes need different diets and that imperfections on the face are a sign of specific dietary needs. As such many celebrities have their faces analysed and a diet created especially for them on the back of it.

Sniff away the hunger
When glamorous celebs are feeling peckish between meals what do they do? Grab the nearest chocolate bar? Send one of their flunkies out to pick up a bag of crisps? Nope, they simple whip out a fruit scented oil and sniff. Apparently sniffing fruity oils, like grapefruit oil, can make your hunger disappear. (There are of course no studies to prove this whatsoever!)

Work out
Sadly no amount of money or weird and wonderful tips can get you a healthy toned body and a leaner, natural physique. Exercising is a must and even the richest celebs have to concede that it must be done.
Try to get into a routine by exercising at the same time every day. Set time aside to work out and don’t plan anything else during that time.
Vary your workouts so you work different parts of your body. Varying your workouts will also help to prevent you getting bored and giving up.
