Sports bra promises 83% less bounce

Tuesday, 4 October 2011 8:00 AM

A company specialising in underwear in D-F cups has branched out into fitness wear. The Panache Sports Bra was tested on a E-cup model and was found to ensure 83% bounce, compared to no bra in 3D motion tests when running at 10km per hour.

The right bra can improve posture and prevent back and neck aches as well as make you feel more confident in the gym.

The Panache design is priced at £35 and is available in D-H cup.

Audrey Harris, Design Manager at Panache says: “After conquering the D plus lingerie market, we were inspired to take up the challenge and use our expertise and renowned fit knowledge to create an innovative sports bra that counteracts adverse distress to the female form by embracing all the key elements of function and fit during exercise.

"After working with Progressive Sports, Loughborough, the new design comes as a result of three years of intense research, development, rigorous trials and road-testing and the result is a major achievement.”

British Javelin thrower Goldie Sayers is already a fan and supporting the campaign as Sports Ambassador. This year’s Strictly Come Dancing celebs Nancy Dell’Olio and Alex Jones own a Panache Sports Bra.
