Workout at home with new 'fitness iTunes' programme
We are only weeks from Christmas, which means it’s not long to go now until our annual January fitness drive, too. If you are looking for new ideas to switch up your workouts, healthclubTV can be accessed through a PC, laptop or handheld device.
Build your own workouts to exercise at home, outdoors or in the gym - healthclubTV consists of 16 specific sections, providing a range of fitness regimes, including circuit training, strength work, martial arts, dancing, yoga and even child-friendly fitness.
You can then devise your daily routine based on the exercises you enjoy and the parts of the body you want to work out.
There is also a dedicated section for physiotherapy where those recovering from injury can log in with a code from participating GPs and access a number of exercises tailored to their individual rehabilitation.
“The beauty of healthclubTV is its simplicity,” said Chris Cooke, founder of healthclubTV. “The best way to describe it is that it’s the fitness version of iTunes. iTunes allows users to access music wherever they are in the same way healthclubTV allows everyone to access their personalised fitness routines and data whenever they like.”
