Personal training scholarships up for grabs

If you are looking for a new career, or a second job to make ends meet during the credit crunch, becoming a personal trainer is the ideal way to combine your passion for health and fitness with flexible working hours and a booming industry.

Premier Training International offering 20 free scholarships as it looks to give aspiring health and fitness professionals from Leeds the opportunity to break into the industry. Premier is encouraging people to nominate their friends, family and let the leading training provider know why they deserve a place on Premier’s International Diploma in Advanced Personal Training.

The 20 winners, who will be announced on 4th June, will land a place on the six-week course, that will be available at any of Premier Training International’s 30 venues throughout the country. The courses will start in July and include the Certificate in Gym Instruction and the Certificate in Advanced Personal Training. It is fully recognised by Active IQ, employers, the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs). It will qualify students to Level 3.

Debra Stuart, CEO of Premier Global, said: “The popularity of personal training has been increasing year on year with more people choosing to enter this exciting and evolving industry. We want as many people as possible to nominate themselves or someone they know."
