If you like good food, good wine and good company, take advantage of the special launch offer from Dinnerfriends.co.uk. The new social network website is offering free membership to the first 500 women to sign up, saving you up to £100.

The Dinnerfriends.co.uk team organise special one-off gourmet events. Members are offered to join a table at a restaurant for up to 12 diners and can invite others to join them, so that each event gives you the opportunity to catch up with current contacts and meeting new people.

Prix fixé menus including service are pre paid, and drinks are settled at the end of the meal.

The team also plans to introduce gourmet weekend breaks, trips and holidays for its premium members and a series of “Ladies Who Lunch” and vegetarian only events.

Members are able to see who else will be seated at the table before they arrive and the automatic booking system will ensure a ratio of no more than 60:40 between the sexes.

“Dinnerfriends.co.uk is about dining first and foremost but with an added twist of meeting other professionals who have had little time to organise their social life, or hose whose marital circumstances may have left them frozen out of their previous circle of friends,” said founder Claudia Pfeiffer, who added, “You never know who you might, your next best friend, partner and lover, new boss or business partner.”

Although the company is Kent-based, there are plans to expand into London and surrounding counties in the coming weeks.
