Tuesday, 26 June 2012 10:37 AM

We may give our poor partners a hard time for not listening but it seems that women are often guilty of missing the point, too. A poll found that more than a quarter of women - 27% - said that they do not know what their partner’s job entails. Still, men came off worse, with a whopping 46% of men unable to provide details on what their partner’s job entails.

The anonymous survey revealed that lawyers were shown to be the most indiscreet professionals when it comes to sensitive information, while doctors were shown to be the second most indiscreet profession also revealing personal details of their work. Police officers were the least likely to reveal more details than they should about of their work (just 1% of the poll).

The research commissioned to coincide with the DVD release of spy series Covert Affairs: Series 1 out June 18, Universal Playback surveyed more than 8,000 Brits to find out their home habits in terms of talking about work.
